Unfortunately, we do not offer vegan or gluten-free pastries at this time. Given space limitations in our kitchen, we do not feel comfortable producing guaranteed vegan or gluten-free options.
Clients (Dessert Catering, Special Events)
-
We have catered holidays, memorial services, birthdays, and soon we will start catering weddings, too! The most important piece of information we need is how many people will be in attendance. We have catered events as large as 120 people, but evaluate requests on a case by case basis.
-
We enjoy working closely with clients to support their vision and needs for the event. Sometimes clients have had very specific pastry requests (I want madeleines, tea cakes, 3 inch. sugar cookies in these flavors), but frequently we have clients say, “ What ideas do you have? This many people will be there. Do what you think is best!”
The only type of bake we do not specialize in is large multi-tiered cakes or highly decorated cakes (fondant, printed out images, detailed pipework).
Check out our Portfolio to get a sense of some prior commissions and events we’ve catered. You can also browse our Instagram for more ideas! But if you have something specific in mind, please don’t hesitate to reach out through our contact form and ask! -
We do not have an hourly rate for catering or commisions. We can provide a quote to you after we receive some information around what you are looking for, what type of event we’re supporting, and how many people you’re looking to serve. Please reach out to us through our Contact form and we’ll be happy to discuss with you!
-
After we have provided a quote to you and we have agreed on a total for the commission or catering, 50 percent of the invoice will be due. This will be your deposit for the event or commission. The day of pick-up or delivery the remaining 50 percent of the invoice will be due.
We have a no refund policy if you cancel within 48 hours of an event and we will invoice the remaining amount of the order to you.If you cancel within 7 days of the event and more than 48 hours, we will refund you half of what you have already paid.
If you cancel more than 7 days ahead of the event, we will provide a full refund.
Business Clients (Indirect Sales, Pop-Ups)

We offer wholesale and consignment based sales options. In general, we prefer wholesale, but on a case-by-case basis we will consider consignment based sales.
With our wholesale agreement, we have a minimum order total and can provide deliveries three times a week max, at this time. We have an extensive product list and can provide wholesale pricing on any items you’re interested in ordering.
We will consider consignment arrangements in some cases. Should you like to sell our pastries for consignment, we accept a 70/30 profit split and we will agree on set pricing for each item. As the items are sold, we require a report out from your POS system on items sold.
In general, consignment arrangements require a lot more coordination and pre-planning than wholesale agreements. Should a consignment arrangement be a potentially good fit, there are some best practices we recommend for the success of the partnership.
-
Working with a small vendor offers many perks that larger businesses may not be able to offer. We like to consider ourselves as an external pastry chef to our business partners, and enjoy collaborating on projects and developing pastries specific to their business. It is a high-touch experience compared to working with a commercial operation and offers a more personal, nostalgic pastry experience for your customers.
A consideration to working with a home-based vendor is our batch sizes are larger than commercial operations. Commercial operations can have batch sizes as low as 2 or 4 for individual pastries, but our lowest batch size is 8. As we grow, we hope to have more range in batch sizes, but for now that is what we can accommodate. We provide batch sizes with our pricing information.
-
Yes! As a small business, we understand that finding vendors and developing business partnerships is no small task and it’s uncommon to work with a home-based operations. For that reason, we are open to trying out a wholesale or consignment arrangement for a month and then would want to transition into a longer term agreement.
